Our new Office

One of the requirements in getting the Next Towns Foundation Inc. (our Non for Profit organization) established was opening renting an office space. Until we can open a community center, this office space will be our main operational center.

This office Space was once a grocery store and then a storage unit. It needed quite a lot of work done to it to clean it up and make it look presentable.

We put tile up in the bathroom and built some bathroom walls. They had a smaller bathroom with glass walls that were pretty dirty (and semi-see through)

Eli and Jaxin

Michelle and I are just so absolutely proud of our 3 boys, Jaxin, Eli and Tyler. They not only worked really hard helping us take apart, move and put back together everything…they also worked extra hard on their homeschooling to have some extra time off to help out.

Our office is set up with a fully functional kitchen/dining room, bathroom with washer and dryer, small classroom for Jaxin, Eli and Tyler, nice relaxing area and office space for all our staff and Michelle and I to do our work at.

Boys classroom.

Some of the older children like to come and hang out to relax and play games on their school break. There is a nearby high school and the students only get a few hours off each week.

The Hope we have, is that this office will act as a central hub or servitude. From here, we will send teachers to the orphanage (the old Pingyu Home of Hope), the Pingyu special needs school, schools out in the villages in Pingyu, and have teachers working at the community center. We have high hopes to be not only be helping the same children we have helped for the last 9 years, but to reach out to help so many more children in Pingyu and eventually in other cities in Henan China.
