Mid-Autumn Festival

The last week of September holds one of the kids favorite holidays, the Mid-Autumn Festival (also known as Mooncake day)! During this time the kids get a long weekend to relax, play games and of course, eat mooncakes! Jessica, Shirley and Nicky went to the orphanage to bring the children goodies and play games.

Our College students also got together with Jessica and Shirley and went out for a meal at a Hot-Pot restaurant. These students have all moved out of the orphanage and now receive scholarships through Hope Outreach China to help them achieve their goals.

After dinner, they all went back to our office and had fun hanging out. These kids first came to our orphanage when they were only 8 years old. It is so wonderful to see them grow and prosper!

We are blessed to be a part of bringing joy to children’s lives. Hope Outreach China’s goal is to bring opportunities in education to the underpriveldged children of China but also to bring joy and community to them.
